An updated map of the great fiefdoms of The Kingdom of Aquitaine with the names and escutcheons of their ruling houses attached to them. Now updated to include The Former County of

Lübeck renamed as The County of Flandres and The Former Duchy of Mousillon redubbed as The County of Mousillon. Map for a creative project of my design that takes place in a low fantasy setting with technology equivalent to the late medieval and renaissance periods, where all my friends and I fulfill the roles of monarchs and lords each with great military, political, and financial assets at our disposal. While many of the kingdoms and empires in the low fantasy setting of my creative project do not have exact equivalents in medieval or early modern European History, The Kingdom of Aquitaine is my creative project’s rough equivalent to The Kingdom of France during the medieval and ancien regime periods of French and European History.

The latest escutcheon I designed for Teddy Verstraet, a friend in France. Now updated to include the latest name of his estate in the setting of my creative project. Escutcheon for a creative project of my design that takes place in a low fantasy setting with technology equivalent to the late medieval and renaissance periods. Where formations of heavily armoured and mounted knights fight alongside armies of pikemen and matchlock musketeers, and my friends and family fulfill the roles of members of royal and aristocratic houses each with armies, lands, and fortunes at their disposal. In context to the lore of my creative project, House Von Verstraet is the ruling family of The County Flandres and one of the great vassals of House Maher of Aquitaine. While many of the kingdoms and empires in the world of my creative project have no exact equivalents in medieval and early modern European History, House Maher and The Kingdom of Aquitaine are my creative project’s rough equivalent of The Kingdom of France during the medieval and ancien regime periods of French and European History.

Jean Dorsenne, Duke of Auvergne. Nicknamed “The Angel of Death” by his contemporaries, Jean Dorsenne is both the head of House Dorsenne and The Current Duke of Auvergne. One of the great vassals of House Maher of The Kingdom of Aquitaine, Jean Dorsenne is one of the finest generals amongst the great lords of The Kingdom of Aquitaine. His excellence with military strategy and his charisma as a military leader won him a more or less friendly rivalry with Theo Percheron, The Duke of Caenesse and The Current Head of House Percheron. Amongst the great families of Aquitainian Nobility, it is the tradition of House Dorsenne of Auvergne to produce the finest infantrymen outside the Royal Army of Aquitaine itself. It is said that both the musketeers and pikemen of House Dorsenne of Auvergne are one of the few infantrymen in The Kingdom of Aquitaine who can surpass the quality and discipline of the infantry of The Royal Army of House Maher of Aquitaine themselves. Apart from his military genius, his charisma on the battlefield, and the military tradition of his duchy and he. Jean Dorsenne is a swordsman almost without peer. It is said that his excellence with the sword is on par with both Mathieu Cachart, Duke of Luxueil and Nicolas Leforestier, Duke of Logresse. Reputed to be the finest swordsmen amongst the current great lords in The Kingdom of Aquitaine. This illustration was made as a gift for Jean Dorsenne, a friend in France.

The escutcheon I designed for my friend Carter Beggs. Now updated to include the latest name of his landed estate in the low fantasy setting of my creative project. Escutcheon fashioned for a creative project of my design that takes place in a low fantasy setting with technology equivalent to the late medieval and renaissance periods. Where formations of heavily armoured and mounted knights fight alongside armies of pikemen and matchlock musketeers, and my friends and I fulfill the roles of members of royal and aristocratic households each with great military, political, and financial assets at our disposal. In context to the lore of my creative project, House Beggs is the ruling family of The Kingdom of Drachenheim (Low German for “Dragon’s Home”), one of the Electorate Princes of The Empire of Mankind, and one of the great vassals of House Steel of The Empire of Mankind. While Having no rough equivalent in either medieval or early modern European history. My fantasy project’s Empire of Mankind is loosely inspired by a fusion of The Holy Roman Empire from medieval and early modern European history as well as The Eastern Roman, or Byzantine Empire, from medieval history, while also drawing influences from Warhammer Fantasy’s “Empire of Mankind.” The Empire’s northern, more dominant hemisphere, where The Kingdom of Drachenheim is situated, bears a resemblance to medieval and renaissance German and Czech culture from European history, while it’s southern culture is largely inspired by Mediterranean, southern European cultures like Italy, Spain, and Greece.

Some illustrations of longbowmen, billmen, and artillerymen I retouched to feature the colours and coat of arms I designed for James Hobson, a friend in England. Both the overall design as well as these illustration edits originally belonged to my friend Robert Moore before losing contact with him. These illustrations are for a creative project of my design that takes place in a low fantasy setting with technology equivalent to the late medieval and renaissance periods. Where formations of heavily armoured and mounted knights fight alongside armies of pikemen and matchlock musketeers, and my friends and family fulfill the roles of members of royal and aristocratic houses each with armies, lands, and fortunes at their disposal. In context to the lore of my creative project, House Hobson and The Kingdom of Albion are my creative project’s rough equivalent of The Kingdom of England under the Tudor and Stuart Dynasties from the end of the late medieval towards the early modern periods of European history.

An illustration of a knight I retouched to feature the colours and escutcheon I designed for Jilog Pacesovi, a friend in France. This illustration is for a creative project of my design that takes place in a low fantasy setting with technology equivalent to the late medieval and renaissance periods, where formations of heavily armoured and mounted knights fight alongside armies of pikemen and matchlock musketeers, and my friends and family fulfill the roles of members of royal and aristocratic houses each with armies, lands, and fortunes at their disposal. In context to the lore of my creative project, House Pacesovi is the newly anointed ruling family of the new Duchy of Alençon situated between the borderlands of The County of Touraine and The Duchy of Brionne near the border of The Empire of Mankind, as well as they are the newest of the great vassals of House Maher of Aquitaine. While many kingdoms and empires in the low fantasy setting of my creative project do not have exact equivalents in medieval and early modern European history, House Maher and The Kingdom of Aquitaine are my creative project’s rough equivalent of The Kingdom of France during the medieval and ancien regime periods of European history.
