Since Queen Catelina Of France had died from tuberculosis, The King’s Mistress Jacobella had been taking a more prominent role disliked by the nobles who supported the English Crown. A Medici should not be able to be that close to the crown as it could be a dangerous affair.

Little was known of Mistress Jacobella. She had travelled a decade ago to Rissingshire with her aunt Donna and her lady in waiting. She grew up in Italy on the countryside always protected and surrounded by clever and powerful family members. Which had come to her use to this very day.

Fun fact: Donna married the King’s brother, Tormund, who secretly and accidently killed King Edmund, his father.
