Some illustrations of pikemen and musketeers I retouched to feature the latest colours and coat of arms I designed for my family and I. This post includes a combination of brand new artwork for the setting of my creative project, previous artwork I have retouched with improved colouring, and previous artwork that i have reposted for strictly archival purposes. Artwork for a creative project of my design that takes place in a low fantasy setting with technology equivalent to the late medieval and renaissance periods. Where formations of mounted and armoured knights fight alongside armies of pikemen and matchlock musketeers. In context to the lore of my creative project, House Maher is the ruling family of The Kingdom of Aquitaine. While many, if not most kingdoms and empires in the fantasy setting of my creative project do not have exact historical counterparts in either Medieval or Early Modern European History, The Kingdom of Aquitaine is my creative project’s rough equivalent of The Kingdom of France during the medieval and ancien regime periods.

Some illustrations of Pikemen and Musketeers I retouched to feature the colours and coat of arms I designed for my family and I. The first Musketeer Illustration has been updated to create an improved gold thread effect on the linen parts of his uniform by removing the mustard colour that existed in the previous edit. The second Musketeer Illustration has been improved by streamlining the gold effects on his uniform by trimming out the excess white and green spill that existed near the gold trimming. The Illustration of the Pikeman has been updated to feature a new effect on the fleur de lis that would make it brighter and more visible than the previous edit without making it look like it had been pasted onto the armour. Artworks part of a creative project of my making where my friends and I are all monarchs and lords with armies, lands, and wealth at our disposal. Bear in mind my creative project features a late medieval to renaissance setting where armies of matchlock musketeers and pikemen fight alongside formations of mounted and armoured knights.
