The map of The Known World in context to the low fantasy setting of my creative project. This map chiefly above all else outlines the geopolitical boundaries and locations of all the currently existing Kingdoms and Empires in the world of my creative project using the colours and escutcheons of their ruling houses. This map does not include minor powers such as petty kingdoms, free cities, and tribal confederations. Map for a creative project of my design that takes place in a low fantasy setting with technology equivalent to the late medieval and renaissance periods. Where formations. Where formations of mounted and armoured knights fight alongside armies of pikemen and matchlock musketeers and all my friends and I are monarchs and lords, each with great military, political, and financial assets at our disposal.

A repost of an illustration of a knight I retouched to feature the colours and coat of arms I designed for my friends Tylor Deaghaidh Leblanc and Felicia O’Dea Leblanc. Artwork for a creative project of my design that takes place in a low fantasy setting with technology equivalent to the late medieval and renaissance periods. Where formations of mounted and armoured knights fight alongside armies of pikemen and matchlock musketeers. In context to the lore of my creative project, House Deaghaidh is the ruling family of The Blood Court of Norsca. While having no rough equivalent in medieval or early modern european history, The Blood Court of Norsca is loosely inspired by a fusion of Medieval Norse Culture and Medieval Prussia under The Teutonic Knights. This repost was for strictly archival purposes and no changes have been made to this illustration since it’s previous post.

Some remade illustrations of some knights I retouched to feature the colours and coat of arms I designed for my friend Tylor Deaghaidh Leblanc. These artworks have been remade in honour of my friend Tylor Deaghaidh Leblanc’s 28th birthday on the 4th of July, 2018.

Tylor Déaghaidh, Head of House Deaghaidh and…

Tylor Déaghaidh, Head of House Deaghaidh and 91st King of Norsca. Nicknamed “The Scourge of The Blood God” by his contemporaries, Tylor Deaghaidh is the eldest child and first born son of Queen Nancy I of Norsca and her consort, The Aquitainian Vagabond Michel Leblanc, who abdicated in favour of her son as a means of securing House Deaghaidh’s Sovereignty over the ruling classes of The Blood Court of Norsca. Tylor Deaghaidh is feared accross the Kingdoms and Empires of The known world for his ferocity as a warrior, his untarnished record of military successes, his ability to triumph over armies much larger than his own, and his unspeakable brutality and mercilessness against prisoners of war and the victims of his raiding parties. Despite, or rather because of his reputation for great cruelty against those who would dare challenge him in the fields of politics and war, Tylor Deaghaidh has kept faith to his family and kingdom’s affiliation with The Church of The Old gods in tradition of The church’s willingness to officially adopt his people’s ancestral diety into their official pantheon.

An Illustration of a knight of House Deaghaidh of Norsca fighting a warrior of House Akbar of Khashabar. Now updated to include the knight’s hood painted black as part of the cape. made as a gift to my friends Tylor Deaghaidh Leblanc, Felicia Dea Leblanc, and Mohammad Akbar as part of my fictional project. This illustration commemorates the crushing victory of House Deaghaidh over the Akbar in the first Khashabar invasion of Norsca. This is officially the first illustrative artwork i have created through graphic design that features combat and battle between opposing houses and kingdoms in my fictional project. By no means is this illustration meant to defamate muslims or their religion as it is part of my fantasy world where Islam doesn’t exist.

Improved version of the map of my fantasy world. The full map has been condensed to show the part of the world that is both where most of the military and political activity is as well as where all the current players are. This map is canon artwork for my fantasy world that is part art project, part creative writing project, and part roleplay where me and my friends are all monarchs and lords with armies, lands, and wealth.
